Why I Write:

There are many reasons as to why I write.

One is for my children to show them that dreams can be real as long as you trust in God and follow His path.

Two is to create fantastic stories that take you to another world. A place where you can connect with characters that may be facing similar things you have faced.

The reason why I write fantasy is:

Dragons!

When I’m not writing:

I am a wife to a wonderful Husband and mother to three children. A girl and then boy/girl twins that were born 19 months after my oldest. They definitely keep me busy.

My hobbies outside of writing include photography and you will see that is where a lot of my ideas come from. Slowly I am getting involved in archery with my husband and kids.

I grew up in Washington and have family all over the states but as of right now God has kept me here.

Questions I have been asked.

When did you start writing?

I started my writing journey when I was ten years old. I decided to first write books that had ended but what author would let a ten year old write their books? So I decided to create a series that never ended!

Where did you grow up?

Good old Bremerton Washington. Born and raised with a few years spent in Cali. It is the perfect landscape that has inspired many of the places in my stories.

How did you come up with all the different races?

That is a rather complicated question. Easiest answer is God. It is a gift from Him that I am able to do any of this let alone remember it.

What is your process for creating books?

I am a pantser. Most of the time I get an idea and just go with it. All the outlining comes when I hit a block and can’t figure out why.

What is your source of inspiration?

Oh that comes from all over. Music, life, a simple phrase like “Just because I purr doesn’t mean you can touch me.” a photo, or photoshoot. Ultimately it comes from God and I just have to pay attention.
